Americana Thrift Store

The Americana Thrift Store exists to serve the community, with 100% of the proceeds going to the community through the Presbyterian Women. This popular thrift/resale store is located at the corner of Court and Foster Streets in downtown Lewisburg, WV.

For nearly five decades, the Presbyterian Women of Old Stone Presbyterian Church have operated the Americana Thrift Store. It is staffed entirely by volunteers. The vision of these women is a far-reaching project that enables customers to purchase clean and lightly worn clothing for a nominal price, as well as household items ranging from spatulas to home office desks.

The Americana Thrift Store funds youth education, families and children in need, and senior support and care. The Americana in itself is a form of aid to people and families who need to conserve their disposable income. Prices we place on items are always the minimum possible. Because we carefully screen the merchandise we sell, people can find high quality items for rock-bottom prices.

So whether it is through our low prices for those in need, or from the cash we take in from the donations people give us, the Americana Thrift Store continues to be a meaningful resource for everyone in Greenbrier County, as it has been for 50 years.

Hours of Operation:

Please note that we are CLOSED on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Open Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 11:30 - 3:30; Friday from 11:30 - 1:30; occasional Saturdays.

Donation Drop-Off:

Americana donations can be dropped off at Old Stone Presbyterian Church from 9am – 4pm Monday through Friday. Please ring the doorbell at the Fellowship Hall entrance on Foster Street and a staff member will let you in. You may also call (304) 645-2676 to schedule your donation drop-off if preferred. Items accepted include clean, gently used, and new clothing/shoes, children’s toys/games, and household goods.

Refund/Exchange Policy:

Please note we do not provide refunds or exchanges: Due to our extremely low prices and because we do not issue receipts with purchases, we are not able to make refunds once merchandise leaves the shop.
